Angel Girl. This is from an original painting on burlap about the freedom to dream. It also appeared on a magazine cover in Kansas City and on Rattle Magazine. It has shown in galleries with the view of Long Island to the Bald Mountain in the Northwest US. This figure is inspired by one of my favorite artists. I used the petals of the honeysuckle flower to create the hair of this dreaming angel. The 7th step in creative freedom is being allowed to dream. This figure shows the muse dreaming of the time and place where she will be free. She realizes that freedom comes from within and that she’s had wings all along.
